Crystal joined Horizon CPA in 2021 after earning her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Mount Royal University. She obtained her CPA designation in 2024 and became a Partner in 2026. Raised on a dairy farm north of Rimbey, Alberta, and later on an acreage near Gull Lake, Crystal developed a strong work ethic and appreciation for rural communities that continues to shape her approach to both business and client service.

With more than fourteen years of experience in a variety of accounting and bookkeeping roles, Crystal has developed extensive accounting knowledge and a broad understanding of the day-to-day challenges faced by business owners. Today, that foundation helps her serve clients and support the continued growth of the firm. In addition to assisting clients, Crystal is increasing her involvement in the management of staff and operations.

Crystal is a highly skilled bookkeeper with experience using a wide range of online and desktop accounting platforms, as well as traditional bookkeeping methods. She has a natural aptitude for technology and enjoys helping clients and colleagues discover more efficient solutions that simplify everyday processes and improve productivity.

Outside of work, Crystal lives on an acreage near Markerville with her husband, three sons, two dogs, and two cats. Having recently built a new home, she is no stranger to taking on ambitious projects. She enjoys weight training year-round, casual running during the summer months, and spending time outdoors camping, hiking, and off-roading with her family. In the winter, she can often be found skating, skiing, or sledding. When she's not outside, Crystal enjoys relaxing by the fire and playing games or just visiting with family and friends.
